Service Description

Massage Therapy for Migraine Relief: Overview: Massage therapy has been studied as a potential treatment for migraines, offering a complementary approach alongside medications. Promising Science: Although not officially recommended by the American Headache Society, several studies have shown positive outcomes related to massage therapy and migraines. Key Findings: A U.S. study involving participants with migraines found that regular massages led to: Reduced migraine pain. More headache-free days. Improved sleep quality. Increased levels of serotonin (the feel-good hormone). A New Zealand study reported that participants who received weekly massages experienced: Fewer migraines. Decreased anxiety, heart rate, and stress hormone cortisol. Enhanced stress management and coping skills. Types of Massage: Relaxing or Intense: Massage therapy can be tailored to your preference, whether you seek relaxation or more intense techniques. Variety of Approaches: It can involve hot stones, cold stones, foot-focused massage, or work targeting areas above the neck. Caution: While massage therapy shows promise, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare provider and continue any prescribed migraine medications1. Eye Massagers for Migraines: Purpose: Specially designed eye massagers can ease headaches, enhance blood circulation, and provide relaxation. Additional Benefits: These devices may also address dry eyes, improve vision, and reduce dark circles2. Self-Massage Techniques: Pressure Points: You can perform a migraine massage by targeting specific pressure points to alleviate pain. Temples and Reflexology: Massaging temples and other reflexology maneuvers can contribute to headache relief3. Remember, whether through professional massage therapy or self-care techniques, finding what works best for you is essential in managing migraines. 🌿💆‍♀️

Cancellation Policy

Spa Policies & Guidelines 661-666-0190 1. Booking & Reservations To ensure your preferred time and specialist are available, we strongly recommend scheduling appointments in advance. Deposits: Secure credit card details or a deposit may be required at the time of booking to hold reservations, particularly for couples’ packages, group bookings (3 to 4+ guests), and extended multi-hour luxury rituals. Weekday Bookings: For the ultimate serene and tranquil experience, we highly recommend booking your sessions on Mondays through Thursdays. 2. Arrival Time & Check-In Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This buffer allows you to comfortably complete any necessary intake forms, change into spa attire, and begin the relaxation process on time. Late Arrivals: We understand that delays happen. However, if you arrive late, your treatment may be shortened to ensure the next guest is not inconvenienced. The full cost of the scheduled service will still apply. 3. Cancellation, Rescheduling, & No-Show Policy We value your time and our therapists' schedules. Because your appointments are strictly reserved for you, we enforce the following cancellation structure: 24-Hour Notice: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment time. Group Bookings (3+ guests): Require a 48-hour notice for any cancellations or changes. 4. Health, Safety, & Comfort Your physical well-being is our primary focus. Health Disclosures: Please notify our front desk and your therapist of any physical ailments, allergies, injuries, or recent surgeries. Specialized Care: If you are pregnant, please explicitly request our specialized Pregnancy Massage. For your safety, certain intensive treatments or deep pressure work may be restricted during pregnancy. Communication: Your comfort matters. At any point during your treatment, please let your therapist know if you would like to adjust the room temperature, lighting, audio volume, or massage pressure. 5. Spa Etiquette & Environment To maintain a peaceful sanctuary for all guests: Digital Detox: We ask that all cell phones and electronic devices be silenced or turned off upon entering the treatment areas. Conduct: Loud conversations and disruptive behavior are strictly prohibited. Our spa is a space for holistic healing and quietude. 6.
